Welcome to The Alamo, located across the road from a federal men’s penitentiary in Texas. It’s Fourth of July weekend, and the motel is filled with those who come to visit their imprisoned loved ones. A businessman, gangster’s moll, bodyguard, prisoner’s wife, mother and daughter, and bride come together in this home away from home, where they look for friendship, understanding, and possibly even love.
