Director Daniel Driedger is responsible for the biggest flop in movie history. To make up for it (and really, to punish him), the studio head assigns him to make a documentary about musical theatre. The throw of a dart lands him and his producer Antonio Callas in small-town Canada, where the local theatre society realizes that their cooperation can help them to realize their goal – a place of their own. A musical review with songs from Broadway hits including Cabaret, The Merry Widow, South Pacific, Les Miserables, Evita and Nunsense.
